Marine Growth Removal
While the hulls of most vessels are protected by antifouling coatings, some smaller boats and a wide range of marine installations including dockside fenders, pilings, dolphins and buoys are subject to the continuous deposition of marine growth such as algae, weed and crustaceans.
At berths where minerals are loaded, the harbour decking and fender tops can become heavily encrusted with dust which sets hard over time and makes repair and maintenance difficult.
Aquajet can remove all types of marine growth from dry-docked vessels and marine equipment as well as the over-burden from the tops of harbour walls. Because no chemicals are used, there is no danger to aquatic life.
